In today’s COVID reality things are changing daily. Some businesses are thriving while others are suffering greatly. The trends of a Virtual Assistant seem to stay strong. Why do Virtual Assistants thrive in an unstable economic climate?

The first reason is a fairly obvious one. While businesses are closing offices due to restrictions,

VA’s work remotely, so there is no change in their work structure. They can easily transition into the new reality because for them there is no difference from the way they were working pre-COVID.

VA’s can work in any currency. This allows you to have client’s around the world. It opens a huge market for your services and not restrict you to a certain neighborhood, city, or even State or Country. In addition, poor exchange rates in one country may entice business owners to outsource. What they pay in their country may be significantly lower in another country.

Paying full times employees can be costly. This makes part-time help a much more economical choice. Some VA’s have monthly packages and others get paid by the hour. Either way, employers are not paying a full-time employee.

A Virtual Assistant who knows what he/she is doing is a tremendous asset to any business. Business owners and Executives come to rely on a good assistant which helps in job security. When one can make themself invaluable, they are more likely to stay employed.

Virtual Assistants have a large plethora of skills that contribute to any business. A good VA is versatile in different areas and different businesses. They are tech-savvy and competent in many different areas making them an important asset to any business owner. VA’s need to have good time management skills and be self-motivated to get the job done. Not everyone possesses these skills making them an interictal part of the team.

VA’s have the skills it takes to accomplish, communicate, and collaborate virtually. I have so many potential client calls where the client is uncertain how virtual assisting works. The skills of a Virtual Assistant benefit businesses in so many ways.

As you can see a Virtual Assistant can be an invaluable member of a team. Executives and business owners want to know the work they handoff

is in good hands and will be done efficiently. They don’t want to stress IF and WHEN the work will be done. VA’s have the skills to do this work virtually and no matter how the economic climate looks there will always be a place for a VA.
